The Wendt Foundation
The Randy L Wendt Foundation is an organization dedicated to perform charitable, civic, scientific, literary, and educational activities within the meaning of IRC Section 501(c)(3) and Texas Tax Code Section 11.18(c) and specifically to providing assistance to families of murder victims, including but not limited to awarding scholarships to members of families of murder victims.
More specifically, to provide scholarships for tuition, and books for the educational benefit of families of murder victims; with families being defended as Parents, Children, Grandchildren, Spouses or Siblings of murder victims.
The Victim and applicant cannot have been involved in the commission of a crime at the time of death. Applicants must be a graduating high school student, have a high school diploma or GED equivalency, and/or be a current student of higher education. The applicant must have a clean criminal history. The applicant's home of record must be of the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas Panhandle. Click here to see the other requirements.
